About
I’m Shahed. Born in Tehran. Nice city. You should visit sometime.
Got really interested in computers very early. My first computer was an AMIGA 500 (by Commodore). Every time I booted it up, it felt like launching a space shuttle. I miss that noisy piece of shit!
In high school, I used to spend my summers at my dad’s office. His company provided IT services to banks, and he was the Head of Sales. Exciting stuff... if you enjoy endless paperwork. Me? I was living the dream in the IT support room: installing Windows, defragmenting hard drives, cracking MS Office, ...
Fast-forward to after I completed my military service; I moved to Dubai in 2004 to go to uni.
Naturally, since I was always into computers, I chose Information Systems as my major.
After uni, I worked for a tech company in Dubai — first as a software engineer, then as a solutions architect — capturing and analyzing sensor data and transforming it into insights.
Then one day, while I was at an IT exhibition in Tehran, I got ridiculously lucky and met my wife, Avi. Love at first sight. Somebody even took a picture of us when we met for the first time... and here it is:
After a few years in Dubai, life started to feel a little too shiny. So, in 2018, we decided to spice things up and move to Berlin.
I worked for a couple of tech companies in Berlin as an analytics engineer, designing and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards.
In 2022, I decided it was finally time to do the thing everyone warns you about: quit my 9-to-5 and start a startup. It was essentially my attempt to turn a dashboard into a business. That’s how accessia was born — a modern SaaS management platform for SMBs.
What's up now? Trying to find product/market fit for my startup. Enjoying the small things in life with my wife. Playing around with LLMs in my spare time.
And that’s me so far. The rest is unwritten.
